Add a watermark to a video
Put your logo on a clip before you send it out: a corner mark for a client preview, a credit on a reel, a brand on a product video. Upload the video and the logo, choose a corner, and the result comes back as a normal MP4.
How to add your logo
- Add the video.
- Add the logo file below the settings.
- Choose a corner and a size, then press Add the logo.
Picking a good logo file
A PNG with a transparent background is by far the best choice: the mark sits on the picture instead of on a white or black rectangle. A JPEG works, but carries its own background and needs a matching corner or a coloured block behind it.
Use a version with clean edges rather than a screenshot of your website header. Something around 300 to 600 pixels wide is plenty: the tool scales it down anyway, and a huge file only slows the upload.
Size and position
The size is set as a percentage of the video width, so the same logo looks right on a phone clip and on a 4K export. Around 15 % is the usual watermark: readable, but not the first thing the eye goes to. 30 % is a branding block, closer to a title card than a mark.
Bottom right is the default because faces, titles and captions usually sit elsewhere. Top left is the second safest. Centre marks are for protection, not for discretion — they sit on the subject.
It is burned in, and that is the point
The logo becomes part of the picture: it survives re-upload, re-compression, screenshots and downloads, which is exactly what a watermark is for. The counterpart is that it cannot be removed later, from this file. Keep your original: the tool never modifies the upload, and the job deletes it as soon as it is done.
Because the logo is fixed for the whole clip, this is not the tool for a mark that appears at a specific moment or moves across the screen. It applies one still image, at one place, from the first frame to the last.
Combining it with the other tools
Order matters if quality matters. Resize first, add the logo second: the mark is drawn at the final resolution and stays sharp. If you add the logo and then resize, the logo is scaled down with everything else and loses a little definition.
For a preview you send to a client, add the logo, then compress the result to a size the e-mail or chat accepts.
What happens to your files
Both the video and the logo are deleted as soon as the job ends, and the result within the hour. No account, no e-mail, no gallery of your files anywhere.
Questions about Add a watermark
Can the watermark be removed afterwards?
No. It is drawn into the pixels, like a caption in a photo. Keep the original file if you may need a clean version later.
Can I use a transparent PNG?
Yes, and it is the recommended format: only the mark appears, without a background rectangle.
Can I animate the logo or show it for a few seconds only?
No. One still image is placed at one position for the whole clip.
How do I make the logo bigger?
Choose a larger percentage. Above 30 % it starts to compete with the picture; that range is not offered on purpose.
Can I watermark several videos at once?
Not in one job: each video is processed with the logo you uploaded. It takes a few seconds per clip, so a small series is quick.
Does it work on vertical videos?
Yes. The size follows the width of each video, so a 9:16 clip gets a proportionally smaller logo in pixels but the same visual weight.
